Procedure to apply for Armenia Embassy Visa from London, UK
- United Kingdom of Great Britain Nationals is excused from the visa requirement unilaterally.
- If no other limit is stipulated by the Republic of Armenia’s international accords, citizens of foreign countries with visa-free regimes may stay on the Republic of Armenia’s territory for no more than 180 days in a calendar year.
- For a stay extending this period a residence permit card needs to be acquired. You can apply for a residence permit during your stay in Armenia.

Types of Armenia Visa
1. Visitor visa
- A visitor visa is provided when a foreigner plans to enter the Republic of Armenia for tourism, visiting family or other persons, business, transportation and other professional interest, medical treatment, or another short-term stay. A visitor visa is awarded for a single entrance or multiple entries with a one-year validity period.
2. Official visa
- Multiple entry visas with a three-year validity period for non-diplomatic personnel of foreign diplomatic representations or international organizations and their families.
- For foreign officials who arrive in Armenia on the invitation of Armenian authorities, foreign diplomatic representations, or international organizations, a single entry visa or multiple entry visa with a one-year validity is required.
- Members of official delegations with ordinary passports can get a single entry visa or multiple entry visas with a one-year validity period.
3. Diplomatic visa
- for holders of diplomatic passports and for persons with diplomatic status.
- Multiple entry visas with a three-year validity period for personnel of foreign diplomatic missions or international organizations and their families.
- Members of official delegations, their families, and other officials must obtain a single entry visa or multiple entry visa with a one-year validity period.
- If you are visiting Armenia for non-official reasons, you will only need a single entry visa for 120 days.
4. Transit visa
- Single entry visa or multiple entry visa valid for one year with a stay in Armenia of no more than three days and the option to extend for a maximum of four days.
- The Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issues and extends official and diplomatic visas, as well as e-visas. The Passport and Visa Department of the Armenian Police issues and extends visitor and transit visas.
- Armenian visas are valid for a maximum of 120 days, with the option to extend for another 60 days if no further duration is established under the Republic of Armenia international agreements.
