- For up to 90 days, British nationals can travel to Guatemala without a visa. For further information on Guatemala’s admission rules for workers and tourists alike.
- You must submit an application to the Guatemalan Institute of Migration in Guatemala City if you want to extend your visa.
- You should prepare to pay a fine before leaving the country if you overstay your visa.
- Only at the main Migration office in Guatemala City is this fine payable. Although penalties may be paid at land crossings or airports, it is strongly advised that they be paid at the Migration office instead because the administrative procedure at the airport may result in significant delays.
