Procedure to apply for Venezuela Visa from London, UK
All visitors visiting Venezuela must provide the following documents at the port of entry:
- A valid Traveller Pass.
- Travelers must apply for this electronic permit at least 72 hours before their arrival in Venezuela via the respective website.
- Your complete travel itinerary (travel dates, flight numbers, airline); your personal details (full name, date of birth, nationality, passport); and either proof of COVID-19 vaccination (you may use your UK COVID Pass) or a negative COVID-19 PCR-RT test performed within 72 hours of arrival are required to apply for your pass.
- You will receive an email confirmation once you have submitted your pass application. After that, the application is evaluated, and you should receive a decision within 72 hours of submitting it.
- The service provider will disclose your test results and personal information to Venezuelan authorities.
- If you arrive by plane, you can stay for up to 90 days on a tourist card provided at the airport. A valid return ticket is required. If you are arriving by land or water, you must obtain a visa in advance from your nearest consulate Venezuelan Embassy or Consulate.
- If you overstay your 90-day visa, you may be jailed and penalized when you leave. Extensions of up to 90 days are available for a charge from any SAIME (immigration agency), but you must apply before your tourist card and stamp expire.

Types of visa
1. Tourist visa
- A tourist visa permits you to enter Venezuela for leisure or sightseeing purposes.
- A medical certificate stating that you are free of infectious diseases.
2. Business visa
- Multiple entry business visas issued by the Venezuelan Embassy is available. It has a 6-month validity period and allows for a maximum stay of 90 days per visit.
3. Transit visa
- A transit visa enables you to fly through Venezuelan airports and has a three-day validity period.
- Of course, a completed visa application form, a valid passport, and a recent passport-size photograph are required for this visa as well.
4. Work visa
- A work visa permits you to work in Venezuela and get compensated for your efforts. It has a one-year validity period and a maximum stay of 365 days. Venezuelan work visas are only available in a variety of entry kinds.
5. Religious visa
- A religious visa, available in multiple entries and valid for up to 365 days, allows you to enter the nation to engage in religious activities.
6. Student visa
- When entering Venezuela to study at an educational institute, you must have multiple entry student visas (validity and maximum permissible stay limit of 365 days).
