Procedure to hire a maid/nanny through an agency?
- Visit UK Visas and Immigration (GOV.UK).
- Pay the visa fees
- Your biometric data (fingerprints and photograph) will be collected at a Visa Application Centre after you’ve completed and paid for your visa application on GOV.UK.
- Upload the documents
- You are required to appear in person at your scheduled visa appointment.
- An email will notify you when the Visa Application Centre has received your decision.
- You have the option of picking up your documents at the visa application center or having them couriered back to you.
Documents required
- The documents to be sent must include the first page of the visa application form, which displays the GWF number. That’s why it’s required reading.
- If you’re going to post original documents, make sure they’re legible and in color so that they can be read. Not providing colored photocopies will incur an additional fee.
- You need to organize and categorize the documents you intend to include in your application. The barcode separators document can be downloaded and printed.
- Documents should be organized into two categories: Customer’s Documents & Sponsor’s Documents.
